To support today’s modern living standards, renovations address interior configuration, life/safety, energy conservation, utility systems, and gender equality issues throughout the structure. Laundry areas, storage, day rooms, study rooms, TAC offices, barrack rooms, and latrines were significantly redesigned. Failing wall, floor, ceiling, and stairwells were remedied, as well as windows, roofing, and exterior masonry and limestone. Upgrades include fire suppression and water supply systems, fire alarm and mass notification system, telecommunication and cabling systems, alarm/card access systems, public address systems, time clock systems, and distributed antenna systems (DAS).
