New Embassy Compound, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The new 208,800 square foot embassy compound in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, consists of a new administration building, Marine security guard quarters, general services office annex, utility building, compound recreational facility, compound access control facilities, personnel access control, site perimeter barrier, and associated security features on a nine hectare site. Both the building and the site are designed in accordance with Department of State security and code requirements and the LEED Green Building Rating System to achieve LEED certification.  

The design-build team of B.L. Harbert International / Page / Mason & Hanger worked closely to complete the $108 million compound on schedule.
